Where does a world class racing team turn to customize a half million dollar rally car? GPC, of course.
GPC was commissioned by JRD Tuning, in partnership with Panoz Tuning, to powder coat the new Sonic rally car Neon Yellow, Bubba Blue, and Viking Grey. The car made its debut at the New England Forest Rally in July of 2015 by driver Tingwu Song. Rally car racing is a world-famous sporting event that takes place on public or private roads in specially built street-legal cars.
GPC was excited to be entrusted with the responsibility of coating such a high-profile car, knowing that every inch of it would be looked over for perfection. VP of sales Dallas Cooley said of the project, “It’s an honor to be selected to powder coat a half-million dollar racing machine. It’s a testament to the quality finish our team here at GPC can provide.”
